Powering series capacitor set at Ha Tinh 500kV Transformer Substation

The 500kV-30,5Ω-2000A series capacitor set at Ha Tinh 500kV Transformer Substation.
The project "Increasing the capacity of series capacitors on Nho Quan – Ha Tinh 500kV transmission line " includes 04 series capacitor sets of 500kV-30,5Ω-2000A for replacing 04 ones of 500kV-23Ω-1000A at Nho Quan and Ha Tinh 500kV substations (02 sets for each substation), among which 03 sets of 500kV-30,5Ω-2000A were put into safe operation before.
The Project invested by EVNNPT; managed, installed and tested by the Power Transmission Company No1; designed by the Power Engineering Consulting JSC No1; and supervised for installation by the Power Engineering Consulting JSC No4. The equipment for the project is from GE.
The completion of the entire project "Increasing the capacity of series capacitors on Nho Quan – Ha Tinh 500kV transmission line " participates a very important role in raising transmission capacity (additionally up to 800MW) for the North – South 500kV line, strengthening stability and safe operation for the National Power System.
