Power production up by 9.2 percent in Q1

Commercial power amounted to 9.68 billion kWh this March, a 9.7 percent increase from a year ago, and 28.03 billion kWh in the first three months of this year, a 9 percent increase.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that to meet the need for socioeconomic development and household power consumption at the end of the dry season, the Ministry of Industry and Trade asked the EVN to get together with the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group and the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group to have plans to operate and maintain power plants, while closely monitor the pace of power source and network projects and resolve problems to ensure sufficient power supply in the high season.
