Mr. Duong Quang Thanh has been appointed to the post of the Chairman of EVN Member Council

Mr. Duong Quang Thanh, Deputy General Director of EVN has been appointed to hold the post of Chairman of EVN Member Council.
According to the Decision No. 386/QĐ-TTg dated on 25 March 2015, the PM Nguyen Tan Dung has appointed Mr. Duong Quang Thanh, Deputy General Director of EVN to hold the post of Chairman of EVN Member Council. The Decision has taken effect since the signing date.
Mr. Duong Quang Thanh was born on July 15, 1962 in Quang Binh province. He graduated MBA from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT - Thailand) in 1995 and now is a Doctor of economic science, and has high ranking political theories level.
Mr. Thanh has a more than 30 years experience in the power industry, of which, 20 years working in the Electricity of Vietnam. In March 2007 he was appointed as a Deputy General Director of EVN responsible for the sectors: preparing the investment of nuclear power projects; building the power market; training human resources and implementing investment and construction of power plants and grids, especially the focusing on power projects in the South.
