Ly Son Island District will have National Power grid in October

According to EVN CPC, at present, the construction of the power grid on island territory  has  been  basically completed, including the  100 percent amount of medium-low voltage power lines and 15 transformer substations (of which,11ones have been powered and all the rest will be powered on Aug.15, 2014).

For the submarine cable, the surveying works   and construction drawing design have been completed and approved by the Ministry of Trade and Industry. It is expected to split the cable gutters and complete the procedures for transporting  cables to Vietnam from 5 to 30 Aug. 2014.

Currently, the Contractor Joint Venture of Prysmian Powerlink Srl Company (Italy) and Thai Duong Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) has finished production of the cable  and will transport it to the Dung Quat port (Quang Ngai) at the end of August  2014. The cable spread work under sea will be realized from Aug. 24 to Sep.15, 2014; the connecting cable with power grid on the island, testing,  checking and taking over works for powering Ly Son Island will be carried out up to Sep. 30, 2014.

Relating to the compensation, site clearance for handing over to the owner of the project, the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee has directed Binh Ly Son District People's Committee in steering communes in the district to strengthen propagandizing the people to  continuously hand over their land for  implementing the project.
