Ca Mau Thermal Power Plant has reached a 50 billions kWh generation milestone

- According to PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) information, on November 17th , 2014, Ca Mau Thermal Power Plant reached a 50 million kWh generation milestone, after an over 7 year operation period.

Ca Mau thermal power plant (Ca Mau 1 and Ca Mau 2) is a gas combine cycle turbine project under Petroleum Power Company (PV Power) management and operation. This project has a total capacity of 1500 MW with a 2 gas turbines - 2 heat recovery boilers - 2 steam turbines configuration and a closed circulation cooling system.
That, Ca Mau power plant has reached a 50 billion kWh generation is a very important event for PV particularly and Vietnamese energy sector generally in contribution to guarantee energy security of the country.
