The Prime Minister has approved to adjust the charter capital of the parent company - Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) up to VND160.000 billion by the end of 2015.
According to the Decree No. 205/2013 / ND-CP on the regulation of the organization and operation of EVN, the charter capital of EVN at December 31, 2012 was VND145,404 billion owned by the State with the right and duty of Vietnamese government for management and implementing organization of state owner at EVN.
Additional sources of charter capital are from development investment Fund, investment capital by accounting conclusion of the basic construction projects completion, state capital by receiving the property from the outside (receiving rural low voltage grids) and other investment sources in accordance with the Vietnamese law.
Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance to direct and guide EVN in implementing specific tasks.
EVN member council is responsible to closely supervise managing and using the charter capital of EVN, ensure efficiency and conserve capital, and, at the same time, take the measures to create additional charter capital as the regulations.
