Vinacomin – Vinalines Agreement on cooperation for coal transportation

In accordance with MOU, Vinalines will provide Vinacomin with transporting services by container ships, bulk carriers and barges for domestic and international freight activities. Vinalines and Vinacomin will study the possibility of cooperation in maritime services and logistics provided by Vinalines as: delivery service, warehouses, and agency for transport, shipping and custom for domestic and import-export goods of Vinacomin.

This MOU provides the basis for Vinalines to step by step increase market share for transporting import – export goods on the domestic and international shipping lines, and comply with policy of the government in Decision No 276/QD – TTg on 27/2/2017 for approving development investment strategy and plan, and production-business plan of Vinalines in 2016 – 2020 period.

With signing the MOU, Vinacomin and Vinalines also show determination to successfully implement the resolution of the Party and policy of the Government on promoting the leading role of the state groups, corporations and businesses to impulse economy to overcome difficulties and continuously develop in coming time. On other hand this is to realize the policy, that members in Central Business Block prioritize to use service products of each other and assist one another to develop together.
