Vinacomin Group resumes operations after Tet Holiday

At the meeting, Vinacomin Board Chairman Le Minh Chuan expressed his hopeful New Year wishes for the workers and his appreciation for their achievements and diligent efforts. He said all member unit and its workers should take initiative in applying advanced technologies in production to complete the outlined 2016 tasks.
Speaking at the meeting, Vinacomin President & CEO Dang Thanh Hai also underlined the importance of strictly abiding by safety regulations and building industrial production methods to ensure the wellbeing of workers and minimize accidents and incidents. Hai requested they focus on developing the quantity and quality of human resources and implementing appropriate policies in training and improving workers’ living standards.
According to Deputy General Director of Vinacomin Nguyen Ngoc Co, all member units of Vinacomin Group resumed their operations on February 15, the first working day after Lunar New Year holiday (Tet). Specially, all coal production, coal processing companies returned to normal work right on the 4th day of Lunar New Year. Several company still maintained production as usual on Tet holidays.
