Vinacomin applies the new technology in digging pits

 - Vinacomin has expressed determination to turn the technology of digging and propping up the pits by anchors into a traditional one with a higher efficiency and quality in coal mining pits in 2015 and the following years.

According to the development orientation of the Coal industry, due to the more and more increase of the pit mining coal productions, the number of pit digging meters also increases, for example, the number of 175,000 meters in 2914 may increase up to 295,000 meters in 2015.

Therefore, it is necessary very much to apply the new technology in digging and propping up the mining pits by anchors for taking part in speeding up pit digging process. Decreasing production costs, improving working conditions and guaranteeing safety for the labors.

The following Vinacomin’ Subsidies have applied propping up the mining pits by the plastic anchors with steel core since 1989 year: Mong Duong (1989), Mao Khe and Vang Danh (1994), Duong Huy (1999 - 2001), Khe Cham and Quang Hanh (2009), Nam Mau and Ha Lam (2013)… And the total number of  propping up the mining pits by anchors in Vinacomin from 1995 to 2014 is 21,620 meters, among them 6,890 meters for basic construction and 14,639 meters for productive preparation.

Particularly, in the first quarter of 2015, some of the units in the Group successfully carried out their plans on  digging and propping up the mining pits by anchors, such as: Quang Hanh Coal Company made 160 / 200m (80% year plan), Mao Khe Coal Company - 136 / 275m (49.5% year plan), Ha Lam Coal Company - 105 / 450m (23.3% year plan) ...

Mr. Dang Thanh Hai, Vinacomin General Director requires the subsidies to renovate the thinking and approaching for them to self control applying the technology of digging and propping up the mining pits by anchors and to build reasonable mechanisms, policies for stimulating mining areas, where this technology is necessary to be applied.

Vinacomin General Director also directs the subsidies to self control building the plans for: additional investment to technologic equipment, in time testing research, reviewing, adjusting supplementing and completing technologic regulations; checking the practical conditions to reassign the plans of digging and propping up the mining pits by anchors in 2015 close to every subsidy. The subsidies of Vinacomin have to establish plans for training, drilling a qualitative human resource with a determination to turn the technology of digging and propping up the mining pits by anchors into traditional one; achieve the higher quality and efficiency at the pit coal mines in 2015 and following years.
