Six coal and mineral exploration projects have been approved

 - According to the Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin), the Council for appraisal of the mineral exploration project of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) has finished evaluating and unanimously granted approval to the 6 coal exploration projects that invested by Vinacomin.

 

These 6 projects include: exploring the coal mines of Mao Khe, Dong Vong - Uong Thuong, Suoi Lai, Binh Minh, Lo Tri and Nam Khe Tam, with a total volume of 465.784mk/842LK, in which exploration costs amount to nearly VND 2,437 billion.

Among the 6 proposed projects above, the geological staff of VITE company have established and successfully defended the five mining exploration projects concerning Mao Khe, Dong Vong - Uong Thuong, Binh Minh, Lo Tri and Nam Khe Tam mines. The exploration project for Suoi Lai mine is done by a group of specialists from MTV Mine Geology Company, Ltd- Vinacomin.

The adoption of coal exploration projects, which serves the "Planning for the development of Vietnam's coal industry by 2020, with consideration for prospects by 2030" was granted approval by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 60 / QD, dated 01/09/2012.
