Mining Vietnam 2014: Presence of many leading international companies in mining and minerals industry

According to the Organization Board, Mining Vietnam 2014 continues to receive strong supports from the Ministries, industry associations, trade promotion boards such as the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (VINACOMIN) and more.

Mr BT Tee, deputy chief representative of the show’s organisers, Allworld Exhibitions, Vietnam, said: “The event has grown in size and to date we are expecting 7 country groups – Australia, China, Czechoslovakia, Germany, Korea, Poland, and the United Kingdom, and anticipate two more in the weeks to come. Mining Vietnam 2014 will once again return with better industry outreach and marketing campaigns to reinforce its position as the technology sourcing and industry networking platform for Vietnam and beyond”.

Whilst Vietnam’s mining industry has been affected by global events, mining pioneers are still seeing opportunities in Vietnam as evolving legislation has made the operating environment a little more promising in the past few months. Advantages will come to first movers into this market.”

He also believes that the extension of industry outreach to the whole Indochina, Mining Vietnam will serve the region as a effective technology marketplace for mining technology and services.

Accordingly, there are a number of international organizations and companies participating in Vietnam Mining 2014 such as Association of British Mining Equipment Companies (ABMEC),Dosco; manufacturer of roadheaders, continuous miners, backhoe miners, drilling and conveying systems, Fenner Dunlop; manufacturer of flame resistant PVC and PVG underground coal conveyor belts and mining seals for longwall roof supports, also as Reilloc Chain; supplier of longwall mining chains, scraper bars, flight bars and connectors, together with Trolex; manufacturer of safety monitoring and gas detection systems for hazardous environments. In addition, National Cohesion Strategy section, Polish Chamber of Commerce, supported by the European Regional Development Fund, will be bringing a group of technology companies to Mining Vietnam. Some companies come from Laos and Cambodia as well. Moreover, MESLAB will be conducting a technology seminar titled ‘Mining in Digital Era: New Techniques and Tools for Simulation, Surveillance and Safety Management’.
